I linger and contemplate over photography of moments that are too complicated to be understandable in real time. Consider all of the detail that lies within a reflection. Open water is always in motion and the nuances and beauty of the reflections move too quickly to be intelligible. For that reason water reflections are a theme of interest for me because only within the realm of photography can these moments of intricate beauty be revealed.
